A small story of Gautam Buddha

Strong mind: Once Gautam Buddha is passing through a city, there is a big shop of clothes in the same city, a person sits on it. Buddha’s eye falls on that person, that person seems very sad. Buddha goes to him and asks him why you are so sad. He salutes the Buddha by seeing him. And he says that since my wife died, I have brought my younger son to my shop, but his behavior is very disturbing.

When a customer comes to the shop to pick something up, my son comes out and snatches their bags and caps and throws it away, which disappoints those customers. Now those people do not even come to my shop, which is a big loss for me. No one remains at home, due to which I can’t leave my child at home. I tried to make him understand my son, beaten, rebuked, and tried everything, but there was no change.

The Buddha says, if you say that I can help you in this matter, he will become very happy after listening to the Buddha. The next day Buddha comes to that shop, that boy also throws the turban and bag of Buddha, but he is not worried that he ordered him to bring him that turban. That’s how Buddha comes to the shop every day and gives him some new work, he does those work with discipline, in all this, he forgets to throw someone’s bag and cap. Then he changed and did not bother anyone ever.

What you learn (Strong Mind)

We got to learn that when we are busy with any other work, our mind does not run here and there or think of anything useless, if we want to be strong, we have to keep our mind busy with some other work at all times. Otherwise, the empty mind belongs to the devil’s house. When our mind is empty, it thinks of useless thoughts and damages our minds. Those useless thoughts weaken our minds.

When we know the root, we will not have any trouble in removing it, then we have to know first, what is mental weakness and why do we feel it. There will be ease in making strong our mind.

When we become fit and strong by the body then called physically strong, most of the people are aware of physically strong and they do exercise and yoga to get fit but physically strong isn’t enough to get healthy. We also need to be fit from our mind to become a completely healthy person, but very few people are aware of this mental health that’s why they don’t take a serious step towards their mental health.

Thoughts are our main root, which makes us mentally weak or strong. When we think negatively and take the wrong action against our unnecessary thoughts those make us mentally weak.

Symptoms of mental weakness

Thoughts-Negative thoughts, misconceptions

Mood– Mood swing

Behavior - Anger, disturbance, irritable, break things, hurt yourself, and violence, etc.

Perception– Misunderstanding without any reason

Mentally strong people, they are very positive in every field, they never lose their patience, and are very confident people.

Nothing remains permanent, we can transform ourselves with some applying of new habits in our daily life. Only we need to recognize first what we need to change in us then no one can stop us to transform ourselves.

Some Changes can make you a Strong Person

  • Never try to control anyone or anything which is not in your hand
  • Never hold small things for a small reason
  • Try to relax your mind by doing meditation and pranayama
  • Don’t try to see issues in others, try to see yourself first
  • Do not lose your patience in any case
  • You are the only one responsible for your anger, tension, anxiety, depression so change yourself not others
  • Think positive instead of negative
